Nach vielen Wochen der eher sitzenden und organisatorischen Tätigkeit fand heute mal Arbeit zum Highwerden statt: Eine Gruppe auf dem Katamaran durch die Roaring Water Bay begleiten. Wer mag mitkommen? | After quite a few weeks of work at the computer and organizing a million of things this kind of work today was very enjoyable and extremely rewarding: I guided a group to the lovely village of Baltimore and joined them on to the catamaran of Nic Slocum to tour the Roaring Water Bay.

Der Katamaran von Nic Slocum kann allerdings nur 12 Personen mitnehmen. Der unterhaltsame Meeresbiologe tourt durch die Roaring Water Bay und startet im süßen Küstenort Baltimore. Heute war das Wetter sehr wechselhaft, von Sonnenmilch bis zu wasserdichten Hosen wurde alles benötigt. | Nic's lovely catamaran can take 12 persons to a whale and dolphin watching tour but today the weather conditions were quite unstable so we only toured the Roaring Water Bay.

Es ging deshalb nicht raus aus der geschützten großen Bucht in den wilden Atlantik, so dass es statt Wale beobachten nur Wellenreiten vom Feinsten gab. | So we started in full sunshine and had to use sun protection. Sometimes the waves were spectacular.

Der Beacon von Baltimore erleichterte im Zeitalter der Segelschiffe die Navigation. | The Beacon of Baltimore was built long ago to facilitate navigation in the age of sailing.

Der nahende Regen war überaus ästhetisch. | Even the approaching rain looked spectacular.

Das smaragdgrüne Meer und der Himmel verschmolzen fast. So eine wellentanzende Bootsfahrt hat etwas von einer Therapie, sie ist erhebend, befreiend und macht glücklich. | The deep emerald green ocean melted with the sky. Such a trip is pure therapy, it is uplifting and makes everybody happy.
